Darrick
International Senior Secondary School, Banga, celebrated Independence day with great
zeal and spirit befitting the occasion.
To
mark this glorious day, March Past was conducted to salute the National Flag. Thereafter,
the cultural program began with Inter-House Patriotic Group Competition.
The school choir enthralled the
audience, Patriotic Songs We Love Our Nation, Three Colours when We Look Upto the Sky, Jhanda Ucha Rahe
Hamara & Hum Bache Hindustan Ke were
central attraction of the day. Dances, Poems, & Speeches were presented by
the Darrickians. Pre-wing students made Posters on Patriotic theme Flag
Making & Chart Making to pay homage to the freedom fighters & Soldiers.
At
the end an inspiring speech was given by the revered Principal, Mrs. Neena
Bhardwaj to promote chauvinism among students & also urged to the
darrickians, today's generation to value the freedom we have secured after great
sacrifices & she recited few lines to pay tribute to the soldiers. The
celebration ended with the National Anthem.
